Wexsel is a FinTech company issuing cryptocurrencies. They needed a solution to quickly launch new ICO (Initial Coin Offering) sites so their clients could sell and manage their cryptocurrencies.
Taking on the E2E project delivery, we built a custom solution for Wexsel, prioritising time-to-market and cost saving.
Throughout, we followed a solution-oriented approach, tackling issues one by one in a quick manner.
We identified gaps with the product manager and backend team following a GAP analysis. As a result, new tasks were added to the backlog for monitoring.
We provided a solution built in Angular. We leveraged several tools to provide a good user experience, but make the application quickly customisable.
The strategy was to identify what usually changed between each ICO, and provide a JSON configuration for this. We also provided a SCSS structure that allowed each ICO to be individually styled.
Code reviews & automation were leveraged to improve quality. This process allowed our developers to move more quickly, as they knew their code would be going through a QA process before ending up on production.
It also helped keep a good relationship with the clients. Because of the process, and also the simplicity of the solution, bugs never made it to production.
Issuing of new ICO pages could be done in minutes, while new coins were launched on the Ethereum blockchain.
Wexsel successfully launched dozens of ICOs, while adhering to customer branding guidelines.
The solution was built in less than 4 weeks, using lean methodology & Agile principles.
By utilising reusable architecture, we were able to quickly adapt to changing needs without breaking the bank.
